General

What is Advanced Primary Care (APC)?

APC is a membership-based primary care model. For a flat monthly fee, you get unlimited access to your care team: same/next-day visits, longer appointments, direct messaging, and comprehensive primary care without copays or surprise bills.

How is Verve Health different from a regular doctor's office?

Traditional practices see 2,000 to 3,000 patients per provider. We intentionally keep our panels small so we can spend more time with each person, get to know your full health picture, and respond quickly when you need us.

Do I still need health insurance?

We recommend maintaining insurance for hospitalizations, specialist referrals, and emergencies. APC replaces the need for most primary care visits, which means your insurance works harder on the things that truly require it.

Membership & Pricing

How much does membership cost?

Adult APC membership is $120/month. Child membership (under 18) is $50/month. Family plans are available at $340/month. Foundation Health Coaching starts at assessment-based pricing, and Functional Medicine is $180/month.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for membership?

Yes. APC membership fees are generally eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement. We recommend checking with your plan administrator for confirmation.

Is there a contract or commitment?

We offer month-to-month memberships. We don’t believe in locking people in. We’d rather earn your loyalty through great care.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate outside of insurance for primary care services. This is what allows us to offer longer visits, same-day access, and transparent pricing. We can still help coordinate referrals and work alongside your existing coverage.

What does Foundation Health Coaching include?

It starts with a comprehensive health assessment covering metabolic, hormonal, digestive, and lifestyle factors. From there, you’re paired with a health coach who helps you implement a personalized plan. Labs can be added for deeper insight.

What conditions does Functional Medicine address?

Our Functional Medicine program focuses on hormonal imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, gut health issues, and mood/cognitive concerns. We use advanced testing to uncover root causes rather than masking symptoms.

Can I see a provider the same day I need care?

In most cases, yes. Our APC members have access to same-day or next-day appointments. You can also message your care team directly for quick questions.

How does APC work as an employee benefit?

You can offer APC memberships to your team as a standalone benefit or alongside existing coverage. It reduces overall healthcare spend, cuts ER and urgent care visits, and gives employees care they’ll actually use.

How much can my business save?

How do employees enroll?

We handle the enrollment process. Once you decide on a plan structure (employer-paid, shared cost, or employee-paid), we onboard your team with a simple sign-up flow and schedule their first visits.
